What this recall means for you
The rearview camera display may not function properly in certain situations, so the screen may not show what is behind the vehicle when it is in reverse. This does not meet the federal rearview mirror and visibility standard (FMVSS 111).
If the display does not show the area behind the vehicle, the driver has less warning of objects, people, or other vehicles while backing up, which increases the risk of a crash.
Honda will notify owners, and authorized dealers will reprogram the display audio unit software at no cost. Owners can contact Honda customer service at 1-888-234-2138. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls at no charge.
