What this recall means for you
Some transit buses built between 2015 and 2018 may have a front seat belt anchorage plate that was not attached correctly to the wall during manufacturing. This can limit the shoulder belt's ability to hold a passenger in place during a crash.
If the anchorage plate detaches from the wall, the seat belt may not properly restrain the passenger, which can increase the risk of injury in a crash.
The manufacturer, Micro Bird Inc., will provide inspection and field modification instructions along with the material kit needed for the repair, free of charge. Owners who have not received the notice may contact Micro Bird customer service at 1-819-477-2012 and reference recall number 18-075-CUC. You can also check your vehicle's VIN for open recalls.
