What this recall means for you
Some trailers may be missing the amber side marker lights in the middle of each side. Without these lights, other drivers may have a harder time seeing the trailer, which can increase the risk of a crash. The trailers also do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 for lamps and reflective devices.
If you own an affected trailer, contact Forest River customer service at 1-260-499-2100 and reference recall number 73-0727. Authorized dealers will install the missing amber side marker lights free of charge. Owners have been notified by Forest River.
You can also check whether your trailer's VIN has any open recalls to be sure you are not missing other repairs.
