ACG Moke Recall 18V317: Missing rear reflectors can reduce visibility to other drivers

NHTSA campaign 18V317, reported May 16, 2018, 72 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2016-2017 ACG Moke low speed vehicles may be missing the red reflectors on the rear sides. Without them, the vehicle is less visible to other drivers, and the vehicle does not meet the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 500 for low speed vehicles.

Reduced visibility increases the risk of a crash, because other drivers may not see the vehicle in time. ACG will notify owners, and the repair is free: an authorized dealer will install a different reflector at no cost. Owners can contact ACG customer service at 1-909-597-2885 and reference recall number ACG-RC2018-02.

If you own one of these vehicles, check whether the rear side reflectors are present, and contact ACG or an authorized dealer to schedule the free repair. You can also check your VIN for open recalls at NHTSA.gov.
