NHTSA campaign 18V316, reported May 15, 2018, 14 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The release handle on certain emergency windows may require extra force to pull. This can make it harder to open the window and leave the bus quickly during an emergency, which raises the risk of injury.

The bus does not meet federal bus emergency exit and window release requirements. Navistar will notify owners, and authorized dealers will apply dry lubricant to the latch assembly at no cost. Owners can contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825 and reference recall number 18509. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
