Morgan Truck Bodies Recall 18V145: Water Can Cause Wrong Turn Signal Operation

NHTSA campaign 18V145, reported March 5, 2018, 7,269 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2013-2018 Morgan Truck Bodies, built on several chassis brands, may have a wiring harness that water can enter. Once water gets into part of the harness, it can affect how the turn signals operate, so they may not work correctly.

Incorrect turn signal operation can make it harder for other drivers to tell what you intend to do, which may increase the risk of a crash. If you own or operate one of these vehicles, watch for turn signals that behave unexpectedly and take extra care at intersections and lane changes.

Morgan will notify owners, and authorized dealers will replace or modify the affected wiring harness at no charge. Morgan customer service can be reached at 1-800-666-7426, and you can check your VIN for open recalls to confirm whether your vehicle is included.
