What this recall means for you
Certain Kidde plastic-handle or push-button fire extinguishers installed in these recreational vehicles may become clogged, so the extinguisher may not discharge as expected or may require excessive force to activate. In some models, the nozzle can also detach from the valve assembly with enough force to cause injury and render the extinguisher inoperable.
If a fire occurs and the extinguisher does not work properly, the risk of injury increases. Owners should take this recall seriously and not rely on a suspect extinguisher in an emergency.
Coach House will notify owners. Contact Kidde for a free replacement extinguisher, or call Coach House customer service at 1-800-235-0984 or Kidde at 1-855-262-3540, or visit www.kidde.com and click "Product Safety Recall." Check your vehicle's VIN for any open recalls.
