Supreme Kold King Recall 17V369: Rear reflectors mounted too high, may not show at night

NHTSA campaign 17V369, reported June 8, 2017, 11,414 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain Supreme Kold King and Signature Van vehicles have rear reflex reflectors that may be mounted more than 60 inches above the road surface, which does not meet federal lighting standards. A reflector mounted that high may not be lit effectively by headlights at night, which can make the vehicle harder for other drivers to see and raises the risk of a crash.

Supreme Corporation will notify owners and will replace the rear reflex reflectors free of charge on any affected vehicle whose reflector height exceeds 60 inches. Owners can contact Supreme customer service at 1-800-642-4889 for more information.
