Jaguar F-Type Recall 17V341: Failed Turn Signal May Go Unnoticed by Driver

NHTSA campaign 17V341, reported May 25, 2017, 19 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2018 Jaguar F-Type vehicles equipped with Highline headlamps may have a front turn signal indicator that stops working. When this happens, the visual and audible turn signal reminders do not flash or chime at the faster rate required by federal safety standards, so the driver may not realize a turn signal has failed.

If a turn signal is not working, other drivers will not be able to tell that the vehicle is turning, which increases the risk of a crash.

Jaguar will notify owners, and dealers will update the vehicle's software at no charge. Owners can contact Jaguar customer service at 1-800-452-4827 (recall number H026). You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
