What this recall means for you
Some 2013-2014 Schwarze street sweepers may have been built with incorrect air brake line fittings. These fittings can leak air from the brake lines, and the brakes may apply on their own, causing the vehicle to stop unexpectedly. This increases the risk of a crash.
The fittings will be replaced free of charge at an authorized dealer. Schwarze will notify owners directly, but you can also contact Schwarze customer service at 1-800-879-7934. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls to confirm whether your sweeper is affected.
