NHTSA campaign 17V203, reported March 23, 2017, 1,274 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2017-2018 Blue Bird Vision school buses that run on propane may have a fuel control valve solenoid that can short circuit. When this happens, the flow of propane to the engine shuts off and the engine stalls.

An engine stall while driving increases the risk of a crash. Owners will be notified by Blue Bird. The defective fuel control valve solenoids will be replaced free of charge by dealers for Roush CleanTech, the supplier of the propane fuel kit. To ask about the recall, contact Blue Bird at 1-478-822-2242 (recall number R17ZA (SB)), and check your VIN for open recalls.
