What this recall means for you

The passenger-side frontal airbag inflator in certain vehicles may rupture when the airbag deploys in a crash. The propellant can degrade over time after long exposure to humidity and temperature changes, and a rupture can send metal fragments toward occupants.

A rupture can cause serious injury or death. If you own this vehicle, contact McLaren customer service at 1-646-429-8916 or visit an authorized dealer. The airbag inflator will be replaced free of charge. You can also check your VIN for open recalls.
