What this recall means for you
Some 2017 motorhomes built between May and October 2016 may be missing a cable tie that secures the rubber grommet on the copper liquid propane gas line. Without that tie, the grommet may not stay sealed, and liquid propane can enter the cabin.
A propane leak inside the vehicle creates a risk of fire. Owners of affected vehicles should contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-262-3474, extension 203, and check whether their vehicle is included in this recall.
The repair is free. An authorized dealer will inspect the grommet and install a cable tie if needed. You can also check your VIN for open recalls.
