What this recall means for you
Certain Beever wood chippers may have their side marker lights mounted too high to be easily seen by other drivers. This means the vehicles do not meet Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard 108 for lamps and reflective devices.
When side marker lights are in the wrong location, other motorists may have a harder time noticing the chipper, especially at night or in low visibility, which may increase the risk of a crash.
The repair is free. Dealers will relocate the rear side marker lights at no charge, and Morbark will notify owners directly. You can also contact Morbark customer service at 1-517-866-2381, and you should check your vehicle identification number for open recalls.
