NHTSA campaign 16V649, reported September 8, 2016, 7 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain front wheel bearings on these vehicles may have insufficient hardness, which can cause them to fail prematurely. The affected bearings are on the right and/or left front wheels, and the issue applies only to vehicles built within a specific production window in spring 2015.

The repair is free. Owners will be notified by mail, and an authorized dealer will inspect the front wheel bearings and replace them as necessary at no cost. You can also contact Maserati customer service at 1-877-696-2737, and check your VIN for open recalls.
