What this recall means for you
Certain Morbark Beever wood chipper trailers from model years 2009 through 2016, built between January 2009 and August 2016, are missing reflex reflectors. Without them, the trailer is less visible to other drivers, and it does not meet federal lighting and reflective device requirements (FMVSS 108).
The lack of reflectors raises the risk of a crash, especially in low-light or nighttime conditions, where other traffic may not see the trailer in time. Morbark will notify owners and provide the missing reflectors free of charge for installation.
If you own one of these trailers, contact Morbark customer service at 1-517-866-2381 to get your reflectors. You can also check your trailer's VIN for open recalls to confirm whether it is affected.
