What this recall means for you
Certain 2015 Wilson CD-1080 and DWH-550 trailers, built on or around November 20, 2015, may have Bendix SR5 spring brake valves that were improperly machined. This can delay the spring brakes from engaging when the trailer is parked.
If the spring brakes apply late, a trailer that has been uncoupled from the tow vehicle may roll away, raising the risk of a crash or injury.
Wilson Trailer Company will contact owners and provide a free remedy kit with instructions to repair the affected SR5 relay valves. Owners can contact Wilson Customer Service at 1-800-798-2002, and should check their VIN for open recalls.
