What this recall means for you
A wiring harness connector for the front passenger air bag may disconnect from the dual-stage inflator module. If this happens, the passenger air bag may not deploy during a crash, which increases the risk of injury to the front passenger.
The affected vehicles were built within specific production windows in early 2016. Dealers will inspect the wiring harness connector to confirm it is properly engaged. If it is not, the passenger air bag module and main body harness will be replaced. The repair is free at an authorized dealer.
