Grand Design Reflection Recall 16V355: Propane regulator may crack, risking a fire

NHTSA campaign 16V355, reported May 25, 2016, 1,300 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The LP (propane) regulator on certain 2016-2017 Grand Design Imagine and Reflection trailers, built between January 15, 2016 and May 4, 2016, may allow propane gas to leak into the regulator's sight glass. Over time the sight glass can degrade and crack.

If the sight glass cracks, propane gas can escape, which increases the risk of a fire.

Owners will be notified by Grand Design. The LP regulator kit will be replaced free of charge at an authorized dealer. You can contact Grand Design customer service at 1-574-825-9679, and you should check your VIN for open recalls.
