What this recall means for you
In affected vehicles equipped with LED headlights, electrical resistance can build up inside the multi-function light switch when it is in AUTO mode. This can cause the headlights to flicker or turn off while you are driving.
If the headlights go out or flicker, visibility at night or in poor weather is reduced, which can increase the risk of a crash.
The repair is free. Dealers will replace the multi-function switch at no cost. Owners will be notified by Kia, and you can also contact Kia customer service at 1-800-333-4542 (Kia recall number SC130). Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
