What this recall means for you
Certain 2015-2017 Forest River Georgetown motorhomes, model GTA369XLF and built between December 8, 2014 and March 22, 2016, were fitted with a vented window in the rear wall instead of a secondary egress window. The vehicle therefore lacks the emergency exit it should have.
Without a secondary egress window, occupants may be unable to escape in an emergency, which increases the risk of injury or death.
Forest River will notify owners. Authorized dealers will remove the vented window and install an egress window at no cost to you. Contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-206-7600 and reference recall number 15-03232016-0151. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
