Winnebago Adventurer Recall 16V155: Trailer Hitch Bolts May Loosen, Risking Hitch Detachment

NHTSA campaign 16V155, reported March 16, 2016, 31 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

If the hitch detaches, it increases the risk of a crash. Owners should be cautious about towing and check their hitch as soon as possible.

The repair is free. Dealers will inspect the hitch attachment bolts and replace them where necessary at no cost to you. Owners will also be notified by mail. You can contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-3535 for help, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
