Stallion 900 Recall 16V152: Windshield Wipers May Stop Working, Reducing Visibility

NHTSA campaign 16V152, reported March 11, 2016, 12 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

On certain 2013 transit buses built between March 1 and October 31, 2013, the power converter that supplies the windshield wiper system can shut off when the wiper speed is changed. When this happens, the wipers lose function.

If the wiper assembly stops working while the bus is operating, the driver's view through the windshield can be reduced, which increases the risk of a crash. All affected buses were already repaired on April 30, 2014, so no owner notification letter will be issued for this campaign. Owners with questions can contact Stallion Bus customer service at 1-631-270-3800.
