What this recall means for you
Some 2015 model year vans built between October 1, 2014 and June 17, 2015 may have an ignition switch that can intermittently lose electrical contact. When this happens, the engine can stall, and the air bags, anti-lock brakes, electronic stability control, or instrument panel cluster can partially or completely stop working.
Loss of these systems raises the risk of a crash and can increase the chance of injury if a crash occurs. Owners should not wait to have this addressed.
The repair is free. Dealers will replace the ignition switch contact holder block at no charge. Owners can contact Chrysler customer service at 1-800-853-1403 (recall R64), and should check their vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
