Newmar King Aire Recall 15V797: Missing emergency exit window may delay escape

NHTSA campaign 15V797, reported November 25, 2015, 10 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some 2016 Newmar King Aire motorhomes built between March 9, 2015, and September 14, 2015, may have been made without an emergency exit window above the driver's side dinette table. The absence of this window could delay or prevent you from getting out of the vehicle in an emergency, which raises the risk of injury.

If you own an affected vehicle, Newmar will notify you directly. Authorized dealers will inspect the window area and, if needed, install an emergency egress window at no cost to you.

You can contact Newmar customer service at 1-574-773-7791 for more information. You can also check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls to confirm whether your vehicle is affected.
