NHTSA campaign 15V646, reported October 13, 2015, 18 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Some emergency response vehicles may have left the factory with a wiring harness for the front airbag system disconnected. Because the harness is not connected to the airbag control system, the front airbag will not deploy in a crash, which raises the risk of injury to the driver or passengers.

A dealer will inspect the airbag harness, connect it if needed, and test the system to confirm it works properly. The repair is free of charge. According to the notice, all affected vehicles have already been repaired, and an owner notification letter will not be issued for this campaign. The recall was expected to begin in November 2015. You can contact E-One customer service at 1-800-627-5050 with questions, and you can check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for open recalls.
