What this recall means for you
Certain 2015-2016 motorcycles have a side stand support tube that is the wrong length. Under load, the side stand can break, and the motorcycle may fall over while parked.
If the side stand breaks, the motorcycle can tip over, which raises the risk of injury to the rider and any passenger. Owners should check whether their motorcycle is covered by this recall using their VIN, and avoid relying on the side stand until it has been checked.
Dealers will replace the side stand support tubes as necessary, free of charge. Owners can contact Ducati customer service at 1-800-231-6696 and reference recall RCL-15-003.
