What this recall means for you
Certain motorhomes built between March 2003 and March 2007 may have an engine cooling fan that separates from its fan drive while the fan is spinning. The problem is most likely to be noticed when the engine compartment is open and the engine is running.
If the fan detaches while operating, it could injure someone standing nearby. Owners should avoid working near a running engine with the engine area open until the repair is completed.
The remedy is free. Dealers will replace the fan and fan drive system at no charge. Owners can contact Spartan customer service at 1-800-582-3454, referencing recall number 15014, and should check their vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
