What this recall means for you
Certain East Manufacturing trailers built between August 2013 and February 2015 may have too little grease in the wheel end hubs. Without enough grease, the wheel bearings can overheat, which raises the risk of a vehicle fire. In addition, the wheel could come off the trailer, which could lead to a crash.
If you own an affected trailer, East Manufacturing will notify you by mail. An authorized dealer will inspect the wheel end hubs and add grease where needed. The repair is free of charge. You can also contact East Manufacturing customer service at 1-330-325-8204 with questions. Check your trailer's VIN for open recalls as well.
