Keystone Alpine Recall 15V499: Rear window labeled emergency exit may be blocked by ladder

What this recall means for you

Certain Keystone recreational vehicles from the 2014 through 2016 model years may have a rear window with a sticker labeling it as an emergency exit. The rear ladder can partially block this window, and the window was not intended to serve as a secondary emergency exit.

In an emergency, occupants who try to escape through the rear window may find they cannot get out. That delay could increase the risk of injury. Keystone is recalling these vehicles to remove the misleading emergency exit sticker.

Owners will be notified, and authorized dealers will remove the emergency exit sticker free of charge. You can contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369, referencing recall number 15-233. Check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
