Cruiser RV Stryker TOY Recall 15V401: Wheel studs may break, risking a wheel detaching

NHTSA campaign 15V401, reported June 24, 2015, 13 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2016 travel trailers built between March 23 and April 20, 2015 may have wheel studs that can break. The studs attach the wheels to the axle hubs, so a break can allow a wheel to come loose.

If a wheel detaches while the trailer is moving, the risk of a crash rises. Owners should take this recall seriously and have their trailer checked promptly.

The remedy is free: an authorized dealer will replace any affected wheel hub at no cost. Owners can contact Cruiser customer service at 1-866-277-5630 for more information, and should check their VIN for open recalls.
