NHTSA campaign 15V242, reported April 22, 2015, 113 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2014-2015 IC Bus AE school buses built between February 14, 2013, and March 10, 2014, may have a heating and cooling system component, the linear power module that controls blower speed, that can be damaged by an overvoltage. This can happen during a double battery jump start or an electrical load dump event.

If the module overheats and fails, the risk of a fire increases. Owners should contact Navistar customer service at 1-800-448-7825, referencing recall number 15510, and check their vehicle identification number for open recalls.

Navistar will notify owners, and authorized dealers will replace the linear power module with an upgraded part at no cost to the owner.
