Starcraft RV TT Autumn Ridge Recall 15V235: Wheel Studs May Break, Risking a Wheel Detaching

NHTSA campaign 15V235, reported April 21, 2015, 34 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

The rear non-powered axle assembly in certain trailers may have wheel studs that can break. The studs attach the wheels to the axle hubs, so a broken stud can allow a wheel to come loose while the trailer is moving.

If a wheel detaches, it can cause a crash and raise the risk of injury to you, your passengers, and other drivers. Owners of affected trailers should contact Starcraft customer service at 1-800-945-4787 for more information. The repair is free: an authorized dealer will replace any affected wheel hub at no cost. Check your VIN for open recalls to confirm whether your trailer is included.
