- Risk
- If the motorcycle is missing the rear reflector it can reduce the vehicle's visibility to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash.

What this recall means for you
Certain 2015 motorcycles may have been built without a rear reflector assembly. Without this reflector, the motorcycle does not meet federal lighting and reflective device requirements, and it can be harder for other drivers to see at night or in low light.
Reduced visibility increases the risk of a crash, since other drivers may not notice the motorcycle in time to avoid it. The defect affects models built within specific manufacturing date ranges, so owners should confirm whether their motorcycle is included.
The repair is free. Dealers will install a rear reflector assembly at no cost. Owners can contact Harley-Davidson customer service at 1-800-258-2464 for more information, and should check their VIN for open recalls.
