Cruiser RV Stryker TOY Recall 15V103: Fumes Can Enter Trailer When Slide Floor Is Opened

NHTSA campaign 15V103, reported February 23, 2015, 51 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2016 trailers with an optional slide floor can expose occupants to exhaust fumes from the generator or fumes from the exterior fueling station. The slide floor can be flipped up to reach the storage space underneath, and if this is done while the trailer is parked, fumes may enter the living area.

Exposure to these fumes increases the risk of injury to people inside the trailer. Do not open the slide floor while the trailer is stationary, and avoid using the trailer in a way that lets fumes reach the occupant space until the recall repair is completed.

The repair is free. Dealers will secure the slide floor so it cannot be opened, completely sealing it from the occupant space. Owners will be notified by Cruiser RV, and you can contact Cruiser customer service at 1-866-277-5630. You can also check your trailer's VIN for open recalls.
