Spartan MM Recall 15V014: Front Sway Bar Brackets May Break, Raising Crash Risk

NHTSA campaign 15V014, reported January 16, 2015, 24 vehicles potentially affected.

What this recall means for you

Certain 2015 Spartan MM chassis, built between October 2, 2013 and November 19, 2014, may have front sway bar mounting brackets that can break. If a bracket fails, the sway bar can detach from the mounting frame.

Without the sway bar properly attached, the vehicle may sway more than expected, which increases the risk of a crash. Owners should take this recall seriously and schedule the repair promptly.

Spartan will notify owners, and authorized dealers will replace the front sway bar mounting brackets free of charge. You can contact Spartan customer service at 1-517-543-6400 for more information, and check your vehicle identification number (VIN) for any open recalls.
