LETTER FROM SENATOR MCCAIN ON BEHALF OF CONSTITUENT RE PROBLEMS ENCOUNTERED WITH HER 2012 NASH TRAILER (DOT/I#S 2012 251) NOTE: RESPOND DIRECTLY TO CONSTITUENT *TGW THE CONSUMER STATED HE HAD AN ACCIDENT WITH HIS BRAND NEW 2012 NORTHWOOD NASH TRAILER. HE STATED THE INCIDENT COULD HAVE BEEN PREVENTED HAD SWAY BARS BEEN USED FOR THE WEIGHT OF THE DISTRIBUTION HITCH. WHEN THE CONSUMERS HUSBAND REACHED HIS RENTED SPACE FOR THE RV, IT WAS SOON DISCOVERED THEY COULD NOT GET IT UNHITCHED. THEY CALLED THE DEALER, WHO WALKED THEM THROUGH ON HOW TO GET IT UNHITCHED WITH THE DISTRIBUTION BARS. THE HITCH WAS TAKEN BACK TO THE DEALER, BECAUSE IT WAS USED AND PARTS WERE MISSING.
