What owners report
While driving, the driver screen went black and became inoperable. This screen provides the speedometer, tachometer, fuel levels and other critical driving information. It was unsafe because I could not identify the speed at which I was driving - but was able to partially remedy the issue by using the heads up display which depicts the speed. I rebooted the MBUX system several times and despite waiting for several days, the system never restarted the main drivers screen. I took the car to the local Mercedes dealership and the were able to restore functionality.
