What owners report
1.5 years after purchasing new my passenger side front door would not open from the inside. Mazda states car is out of warranty at 36837 miles indicating a cable had come disconnected. Approximately 1.5 years later at 59934 miles the front passenger door again would not open from the inside. Mazda states that this door is used frequently (it is not) and after troubleshooting replaced the door handle and lock mechanism on June 22, 2026. Other than having out of pocket expenses of $738 I feel fortunate that I wasn't exposed to a life threatening situation whereby leaving the vehicle through the passenger side was my only option. The rear wheel bearing failed at approximately 50k miles, causing grinding noise, humming, vibration, steering pull. It was replaced by Mazda under warranty in 2025. The wheel bearing failed again at approximately 59k miles. I have seen reports from other CX-30 owners describing the same recurring wheel bearing failure. This is a known issue that Mazda has not been resolving for the owners and there need to be a recall for this issue.
I don't know, is 4:20 in the morning. Oh, is it work? I was sitting in my car and all of a sudden pop and I had ringing in my ear. According to Mazda, connect, I got some weird network. My infotainment system is brikecked ! I cant turn off my lane assist and its like a battle to keep it in roads that dont have lines and especially when you get stuck in a groove of a road. Its scary! I got put into a grove my car being awd the rest followed and I get out of the grove and lane assist put me back in amd it almost put me all the way into the same gaurdrail I just avoided. My car is im this state due to unaddressed parasitic draw killing multiple batteries all deallt with by mazda service department.
1. The system that is failing is the rear tailgate. When it is opened or closed there is a clicking sound as if it is tryng to engage the lock multiple times. While driving this continues with the tailgate closed turning on and off the interior lights in the vehicle and showing on the front console that the tailgate is unlocked and open. the car is availabe for inspection on request. When I asked the dealer about it they stated that this is a known problem and it will cost approximately 800 dollars to fix which I believe is unresonable due to it being a known issue. 2.
