TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2004 KENWORTH T600 TRACTOR HAULING A 2016 LOAD MAX 7 (NA) TRAILER. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE TRAILER'S FRAME WAS STRUCTURALLY UNSOUND DUE TO RUST. THE CONTACT STATED THAT IT WAS A CUSTOM BUILT TRAILER DESIGNED TO HOLD SEVEN VEHICLES. HOWEVER, ONLY FOUR TO SIX VEHICLES WERE ABLE TO BE PLACED ON THE VEHICLE DECK DUE TO THE HYDRAULICS FAILING INTERMITTENTLY. A DEALER WAS NOT CONTACTED. THE TRAILER WAS TAKEN TO AN INDEPENDENT REPAIR FACILITY AND THE FRAME WAS SERVICED; HOWEVER, THE REMEDY FAILED TO PROVIDE A PERMANENT REPAIR. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE CUSTOMIZED TRAILER WAS NOT MADE TO THE APPROPRIATE SPECIFICATIONS IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STAND
