We recently purchased this camper and in preparation I crawled under it and looked around and what I saw made me cringe. The welding on the frame was the worst welding I've seen in years on a product for sale the main beams that tie the camper front to back were only welded on one side of the beam and there are four sides that could be welded. And upon further inspection found the weld on the main beam in the rear has already started to crack side.mounts for the camper body are only welded half the length of the bracket to the frame. The only thing I can is I contacted jayco and their response was I need to talk to the frame manufacturer. I said no I won't you sold it it's your responsibili

The underbelly material blew off the RV, along with other insulation material, while driving on the Interstate. I was driving under the speed limit and in the far right lane. The material blew across the other lanes of traffic and, luckily, did not cause an accident. The same issue occurred less than a year ago and I had just got the RV back from the repair facility at Camping World in Albuquerque NM. I do have some pictures of both occurrences.

The contact's wife owns a 2021 Jayco Jay Flight RV. The contact stated that he had experienced several failures with the trailer. The contact stated that upon delivery of the trailer, the refrigerator would freeze at bottom and defrost at the top. The contact also stated that the stove top would ignite nearly six inches high and could not be adjusted. The contact then received notification of NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V685000 (Equipment) which he linked to the failure. The contact was sent the part to repair the trailer himself; however, due to health challenges, the contact was unable to replace the part. The dealer and the manufacturer were notified of the failure but offered no assistance.

With only 1,400 miles on RV, it was noticed that both the driver and passenger side rear tires had worn down to the belts on the inside. The axles have been replaced so they are likely no longer available for inspection, although I do have pictures. The safety risk is that had the faulty suspension parts completely failed, the axles could have become disengaged from the RV causing a major accident. The tires were also close to complete failure. The problem was confirmed by a service technician at a Jayco dealer.
