TL* THE CONTACT OWNS A 2015 HAUL MASTER SUPER DUTY TRAILER. THE CONTACT RECEIVED NOTIFICATION OF NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V638000 (TIRES); HOWEVER, THE PART TO DO THE REPAIR WAS UNAVAILABLE. THE CONTACT STATED THAT THE MANUFACTURER EXCEEDED A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF TIME FOR THE RECALL REPAIR. HARBOR FREIGHTS IN SIERRA VISTA, ARIZONA WAS MADE AWARE OF THE RECALL AND STATED THAT THE PARTS WERE UNAVAILABLE. THE MANUFACTURER WAS MADE AWARE OF THE ISSUE. THE CONTACT HAD NOT EXPERIENCED A FAILURE. PARTS DISTRIBUTION DISCONNECT.

THE CONTACT STATED THAT NHTSA CAMPAIGN NUMBER: 17V638000 (TIRES) WAS RECEIVED IN NOVEMBER OF 2017. THE CONTACT STATED THE PROCESS HARBOR FREIGHT WAS REQUESTING CUSTOMERS TO PERFORM IN ORDER TO REPAIR THE RECALL WAS COSTLY AND FOR MOST CUSTOMERS, NOT ABLE TO BE COMPLETED. THE MANUFACTURER WAS REQUESTING THE CUSTOMER TO REMOVE THE TIRES OFF THE TRAILER AS WELL AS THE RIM, AND TAKE THE TIRES TO THE LOCAL DEALER. THE DEALER WOULD THEN REPLACE THE TIRES BUT IT WOULD BE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER TO HAVE THE TIRES ATTACHED TO THE RIM AND THEN PUT BACK ON TO T
