The contact owns a 2010 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 equipped with a Genesis Supreme trailer attached to the vehicle. The pin box bolted on the front of the trailer is a Lippert Rota-Flex Pin Box. The contact stated that upon pulling into a gas station, the contact discovered that the trailer was sitting on top of the bed of the truck. Upon inspection, the contact discovered several cracks on the pin box; therefore, the contact unbolted the trailer from the vehicle. The contact discovered that the pin box had fractured which could have led to the trailer completely detaching from the vehicle.
