I OWN A 2000 FORD F350 SUPERDUTY POWERSTROKE 7.3L DIESEL 2WD. EVERYTHING ON THE VEHICLE IS STILL FACTORY, NO CHIPS, MOD'S ETC.. THERE IS 107,000 ORIGINAL MILES ON THE TRUCK. NO NEW ENGINE. I DROVE MY TRUCK 20 MILES OUTSIDE OF TOWN AND LUCKILY I WAS ON A BACKROAD GOING THRU A SMALL TOWN, BETTSVILLE, OHIO AND WHEN I WENT THRU THE INTERSECTION LIGHT JUST A SHORT DISTANCE FROM THE INTERSECTION THE TRUCK JUST DIED. NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT, NO POWER STEERING TO STEER THE TRUCK OUT OF TRAFFIC. POWERTRAIN NOT RESPONDING TO AUTOENGINUITY SCAN SOFTWARE. I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO GET THE TRUCK STARTED IN OVER A YEAR NOW. I THANK GOD THAT I WASN'T ON THE FREEWAY GOING 65-80 MILES AN HR. AND THIS TRUCK ST
I WAS DRIVING DOWN A WINDY HILL WITH MY FAMILY ON VACATION WITH MY TOY HAULER HOOKED UP AND TRUCK JUST SHUTS OFF COMPLETELY NO POWER STEERING NO POWER BRAKES WILL NOT RESTART. LUCKILY, I HAD MY BRAKE CONTROLLER HOOKED UP TO STOP IT COMPLETELY. BLOCKING TRAFFIC RAN A CODE READER ON IT AND IT SAYS CPS= CAMSHAFT POSITIONING SENSOR = 145.00 NAPA, AND YES I HAVE THE OLD ONE YOU WANT IT? *JB
