We rented a Class C RV based on a Ford E-Series chassis from El Monte RV. During our trip, we experienced two dangerous tire tread separations. The first incident occurred on the third day of our trip on the highway. The right rear tire's tread detached while driving at moderate speed (~55–60 mph), causing the tire to explode. The violent separation destroyed the wheel well area and shook the entire vehicle violently. Our RV contained a [XXX] child, and we were forced to stop on the shoulder in a dangerous situation. ONE OF OUR VANS' BCT JB42 FRONT TIRE BLEW UP LEAVING FROM A PARKED AREA WITHOUT GOING OVER ANY SHARP OBJECTS OR CURVES. FORTUNATELY NO ONE WAS HURT BUT IT COULD HAVE CAUSED A HUGE ACCIDENT ON THE ROAD. I CHECKED FOR RECALL ON THIS TIRE BUT IT WAS NOT... I HAVE A 2000 FORD EXPEDITION THAT WHEN DRIVING, AS SOON AS THE LOW FUEL LIGHT COMES ON, THE ENGINE SHUTS OFF. I HAD SEVERAL OCCASIONS WHEN I AM LESS THAN A MILE FROM A GAS STATION, AND THE TRUCK HAS TROUBLE MAKING IT TO THE GAS STATION. THERE ARE SEVERAL INSTANCES WHEN MY SUV IS PARKED UP HILL AND IT HAS MORE THAN A QUARTER TANK OF GAS, AND IT HAS A HARD TIME STARTING. I HAVE TO PUT IT ON NEUTRAL, LET IT ROLL BACKWARDS AND PUT IT ON LEVEL SURFACE BEFORE IT CAN START AGAIN. RECENTLY IT HAS STARTED SHUTTING OFF WHEN I DRIVE, WITH A REASONABLE AMOUNT OF FUEL.
