What owners report
On October 13, 2026, while driving my 2018 Alfa Romeo Giulia Ti home from work at night in dry weather, the vehicleâs lights began flickering and then the headlights went out while the vehicle was moving. I suddenly could not see the road and nearly had an accident. The problem is intermittent, and the lights later resumed operating, but the vehicle is unsafe to drive at night. This vehicle has a history of electrical problems involving flickering lights and loss of power. Alfa Romeo and FIAT of Maple Shade previously replaced the Body Control Module (BCM) for the same original problem, but the problem continued. The dealership later kept the vehicle for more than one month. Repair Order

The recall specifically states that this issue can lead to a sudden loss of drive power while driving and possibly result in a crash. Due to the closure of the dealership in San Antonio where I live and purchased the car, the nearest Alfa Romeo authorized service center is in Austin, Texas. This is a distance of 125 miles from my home and involves primarily driving on highways with 70 mph speed limits. Because this is a critical safety recall, I have already scheduled an appointment with this dealer for the repair; however, when I contacted Alfa Romeo to inquire about arranging a
